There are many body scanners on the market and this can make it difficult for buyers and users to know which provides the most accurate data. Body scanners are often used to measure body fat, lean body mass and BMI along with other aspects to assist in someone’s body transformation or weight loss journey.
3D-lipo work alongside a company called Fit3D to provide clinics with a device that can help to provide clients with bespoke treatment plans and also to show their treatment progress.
The Fit3D Pro Scanner is the most exact 360 body scanner on the market, providing results that are 98% accurate. The Pro Scanner takes 1,200 images of the body whilst the client is standing on a rotating plate and this is then used to create a virtual 3D avatar of the user.
This scanner tracks and measures a user’s body composition, body fat percentage, fat mass vs. lean mass whilst also sending a full 360 image of the scan to the user’s personal account.
“Although methods like callipers, manual measurements, tracking BMI and using body composition machines provide insight, they do not give 90% of users what they want to see – a visual improvement backed with accurate data,” says Fit3D owner, Toby Cowley.
Fit3D is built to include the latest in client assessment tools. 3D-lipo recommend the Pro Scanner to clinics to prescribe bespoke treatments across the client’s entire body and then review any distinct body changes with the side-by-side visual comparison. The client will also be able to view a body shape wellness rating based on a comparison with over 300,00 scans logged.
This scanner is an amazing addition to clinics as it can help motivate clients to improve their lifestyle, but can also show them the changes in their physique following fat loss and body contouring treatments a lot more accurately than manual measurements.
As well as being popular amongst clinics, this product is also well-favoured by gym goers as it allows them to monitor their progress through bulking and cutting phases and also track overall fitness improvements.
Fit3D, established in 2018, manufacture and supply a professional body scanning machine that was recently featured on series 1, episode 1 of BBC show “The Twinstitute”. This programme features 30 pairs of identical twins who are split up and subjected to different approaches to health. The Twinstitute is aired on BBC2 at 8.30pm on Wednesday evenings, with 6th February showing the last episode of the season.
Gym Owner Monthly magazine also feature Fit3D in their January issue, talking with Toby Cowley about the benefits of the Pro Scanner for gym owners, Toby’s own fitness journey and what sets Fit3D apart from its competitors.
